GOSSIP (Get thee behind me)

Have you ever heard a person say, "Oh, I hate gossip!" But ironically you find them some other time engaged in cheap talk about other people. Gossip is inviting. It lures all of us from all sides and walks of life. Truth is, sometimes it makes us feel good about ourselves. Commonly associated with the female gender, gossip is divine. However do not mistake me. Even men and boys do enjoy some bits of juicy gossip.

But have you ever considered how you look like as you gossip? You seem like a person whose esteem has been battered and can only step on someone else so as to feel good. And have you ever looked at the reason why you so much detest someone as to gossip about them? Though many may not admit it, we gossip because we feel someone has got something on you. If a person is successful, or has killer looks, or they have a good aura of self-confidence don't gossip about them. Let them enjoy their own glory.

Instead work on your own shortcomings to become a better you. And maybe next time people will be envious about you. So next time gossip seduces you to great depths, and you just can't resist the good feeling it brings, just say these words,
     "Get thee behind me Satan!!!!!!"

BAD AT FIRST

Have you ever done something a first time and totally sucked at it? I know. It can be embarrassing.
So this is my first time blogging. And so far I suck! But hey, I'm still here writing the next post. Probably with practice I will be very good.

My message for today is all work is hard work. You attempt something and fail. Go back and do it again. Scientifically, it takes 10,000 hours of practice to be good at something. So until you exhaust those 10,000 hours, don't blame yourself for not being the best.

If I were you I would go back to that project I gave up on just a few minutes ago simply because I sucked at it.
Then I would try again and again. Always remember that it is not yet over until the fat lady sings!!!!

TRAVEL LIGHT

Dearest Reader....
TRAVEL LIGHT.
Life is tough... we all know. So there is nothing special about that.
School at times sucks... we know. Again nothing special.
Work is a headache... it always has been.
Friends can betray you... so let it go.
Your partner can bail on you... life goes on.

What I'm trying to say in this page is that at times we are served with bitter lemons in life. Many say when you are given lemons make lemonade. I say when you are given a lemon bite into it and suck it up. It will make you stronger. Don't strain yourself with everyday burdens, you may forget to live... TRAVEL LIGHT!!!

And hey, at the end of it all no one gets out alive...
We all die..
